The Eisbach wave is in danger of being removed by the city of Munich, in
Germany.

The Eisbach wave has been surfed since the 1970’s, optimized by surfers, and
has been not only a focal point of tourism in the English Gardens downtown
Munich, but has also become an iconic symbol of River Surfing worldwide.

The city’s proposal to take out this artificial wave is unfortunate. You can
help the local surfing community by letting the city know you’re against its
removal.
